Criteria Our Comments
DHT Lowering Ingredients Saw Palmetto
Beta-Sitosterol
Quercetin
Pygeum
Stinging Nettles
Pumpkin Seed
DHT is a form testosterone that inflames and irritates the prostate. The Prostate Formula does not have beta-sitosterol, one of the most important DHT blockers, but it does have saw palmetto, pygeum, stinging nettles, and pumpkin seed although the ingredients used are low-quality powders and not extracts. Extracts have a certain guaranteed percentage of active ingredients.
Anti-Inflammatory Ingredients Boswellia serrata
Stinging Nettles
Green Tea
Lycopene
Cat’s Claw
Raspberry
Rosemary
Garlic
Anti-inflammation ingredients will reduce the irritation and swelling your prostate has and prevent further damage. The Prostate Formula just has stinging nettles which is not the most powerful anti-oxidant.
Prostate Nutrients
Zinc
Copper
Selenium
Vitamin C
Vitamin E
Like all organs in the body, the prostate needs certain nutrients to function. The prostate formula just has one mineral: zinc along with various vitamins and amino acids.
Artificial dyes No Titanium Dioxide
No FD&C
Artificial dyes like titanium dioxide have been found to increase the risk of cancer. FD&C also have negative effects. The Prostate Formula has titanium dioxide which is potentially carcinogenic.

The Prostate Formula Ingredients

The Prostate Formula”s formulation average and could use improvements in some areas.

The Prostate Formula is missing a key DHT-blocking ingredient, beta-sitosterol. Saw palmetto is effective along with pumpkin seed, stinging nettles, and pygeum but they are a lot more effective when used with beta-sitosterol. The DHT blocking ingredients used are low quality powders instead of extracts which have a certain guaranteed percentage of active ingredients.

It only has one ingredient that addresses inflammation: stinging nettles. Unfortunately, stinging nettles is not the best anti-inflammatory.

The Prostate Formula has zinc, some essential vitamins, and many amino acids so its prostate nutrient package is above average.

It has potentially carcinogenic titanium dioxide dye. All in all, The Prostate Formula is an average supplement.

Does The Prostate Formula Work?

The Prostate Formula focuses on providing the prostate with required nutrients and blocking DHT. However, the DHT blocking ingredients are low-quality powders. The nutrients it provides is more than most supplements.

All in all, there are better more comprehensive supplements on the market.

Is The Prostate Formula Safe?

The Prostate Formula uses ingredients that are natural and the dosages are reasonable. Unfortunately, it has titanium dioxide which has been found to cause cancer when inhaled by rats. Titanium nanoparticles have also been found to cause genetic damage in mice.
